Berkshire Wedding Photographer | Steve Bagness Photography

NO POSING REQUIRED

Hi, I’m Steve, but my friends call me Baggy.

Getting married in Berkshire, or the home counties? Congratulations! Exciting times ahead.

After choosing a date, and visiting wedding venues, selecting a Berkshire wedding photographer might be one of your biggest decisions when planning the special day. If you want to know who the right one is for you, head over to my blog page. But I hope it’s going to me!

It’s a tremendous responsibility to photograph a wedding. To make sure each gets my 100% attention, I only work on one a week.

What are you looking forward to most about your wedding?

I’m guessing it will be spending time with your closest friends and family, on a day that promises to be a mash-up of laughter, the unpredictable, and the occasional tear. My goal is a to take you back to those genuine moments every time you look at your wedding photographs in the years ahead. With a background in photojournalism, covering news, celebrities and events, I bring 25 years experience to every wedding.

The popularity of documentary wedding photography is a perfect match for my background and skills. If you wish, nothing will be posed, everything will be taken completely naturally, shooting for candid moments when you are unaware, while lightly blending in natural portraits. When you look through your wedding album you should be able to relive the day without words.

I promise to not interrupt you to pose for photos, so you can enjoy the spontaneity of the day. Trust me to seek the authentic and meaningful moments on your wedding day. Not just of what you experienced, but also the little things you missed.

Emotive, enduring wedding photographs of the people you love.

UNPOSED WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Hate posing? Join the club.

Your wedding day will be the most planned and photographed of your life. I'm no selfie addict, so if you feel a bit awkward in front of the wedding photographers camera, I will understand. At your wedding venue I want to be as unobtrusive as possible. The ceremony celebrant will love the silent shutter on my camera, meaning no noise during the service. Also about 90% of the day will be shot in natural light, so no flashes going off. To be honest though, with so much emotion in the air, you won’t even notice a wedding photographer being around.

CAPTURE THE MOMENT

Although primarily a Berkshire wedding photographer, I'm a photographer based in the UK but love to travel. I'm familiar with most of Berkshire's popular wedding venues, such as Wasing Park and Herons Farm. I love destination weddings and alternative locations too. Most couples I work with choose full day coverage which ensures the day gets covered with no clock watching. Take a look at a gallery which will give you a good idea of the style of photographs you can expect to get. Your guests will also be able to download them for free, unwatermarked from your online gallery.

Invest in the best professional wedding photography your budget allows. Hire a wedding photographer in Berkshire committed to telling the actual story of your wedding. Not how they think it should look. In your quest for the perfect day, I hope you’ll consider me. Coronavirus turned 2020 into a calamity for couples. 2021 could be very busy so lock in your suppliers ASAP. Book me and if you have to cancel due to COVID I will refund your deposit in full.

Steve took pictures for our wedding, and we could not have asked for a better photographer! His work is beautiful, the photographs are very natural, and Steve himself is professional, funny and one of a kind! Highly recommended.

Samantha Brookfield, Uxbridge

Inventive, clever and memorable photographs. Particularly likeable as very few of the photographs were posed. He created an air of relaxed enjoyment and never felt intrusive of our special moments.

David Mason, Caversham
